TAITRA representatives mark the official opening of Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines, celebrating stronger ties and opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
MANILA, Philippines — More than 125 Taiwanese companies will converge in Manila this September as Taiwan Expo 2026 seeks to expand distribution, retail, licensing, and long-term business partnerships in the Philippine market.
The exhibition will be held from September 17 to 19 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, following a 2025 edition that generated US$53.4 million in business opportunities and attracted more than 10,000 buyers.
For Philippine retailers and distributors, the expo offers a broad portfolio of products across lifestyle, healthcare, food, consumer technology, sustainability, and specialized equipment.
The Premium Lifestyle Pavilion will feature products including recycled-fabric bags, electric vehicle safety blankets, micrometer towels, memory storage devices, smart wine aerators, and precision bathroom components—many of which are seeking Philippine distribution and retail partners.
The Agritech & Food Pavilion will likewise introduce premium Phalaenopsis orchids, high-mountain teas, and specialty Taiwanese food products to potential local distributors.
Healthcare products will be represented through the Beauty & Wellness Pavilion, featuring biotech skincare, functional bio-electro devices, pharmaceutical and cosmetic anti-counterfeiting technologies, sterile surgical supplies, and medical dressings.
Meanwhile, the Green & Innovation Showcase will focus on commercial and infrastructure opportunities, including battery energy storage systems, hydrogen microgrids, green building insulation, AI-powered waste sorting systems, and biodegradable plant-based straws.
For industrial buyers, the Intelligent Technology Pavilion will present AIoT, edge computing, cybersecurity, collaborative robots, and forklift safety systems.

TAITRA Chairman James C. F. Huang said the organization hopes to build on last year’s business activity by encouraging Taiwanese and Philippine companies to pursue joint ventures, licensing, and local assembly.
“Building together rather than simply trading” is the longer-term objective, Huang said, emphasizing partnerships that can continue creating value years after the exhibition ends.
Taiwan and the Philippines recorded US$6.71 billion in goods trade in 2024, while bilateral trade grew 8.5 percent during the first seven months of 2025.
Organized by the Taiwan International Trade Administration under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by TAITRA, Taiwan Expo 2026 is positioned as a business-matching platform for companies seeking new products, suppliers, technologies, and Philippine market partners.
For retailers, distributors, and businesses looking for new products, suppliers, and technology partners, Taiwan Expo 2026 provides an opportunity to connect directly with Taiwanese companies and explore potential commercial opportunities. The expo runs September 17–19 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
