Manila, Philippines — Filipino-developed AI payment solution Sniffy was named the grand champion of the Build In! Payments Hackathon, after impressing judges with a platform that enables AI agents to autonomously pay for and access App Store Optimization (ASO) data.
The multi-week hackathon challenged Filipino developers to create practical payment technologies capable of addressing real-world problems through Web3 innovation.
Designed for founders and product teams, Sniffy integrates App Store Optimization research directly into agentic workflows, allowing AI agents to gather ASO insights without requiring users to manually monitor dashboards. The solution aims to simplify product research while helping developers improve their applications’ visibility on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The competition was organized by Morph in partnership with Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth initiative and DvCode Technologies Inc. Participants developed solutions across five payment-focused tracks: Cross-Border Remittance, SME Payments, Payroll/B2B, FX Treasury, and x402 Agentic Payments.
Aside from Sniffy’s overall victory, several other projects were recognized during the competition. Mandate402 won the x402 Agentic Payments category, while Centrus Sovereign topped Cross-Border Remittance. Ember emerged as the winner for SME Payments, PayMemo received the Payroll/B2B award, Agent Mesh earned the Community Choice Award, and Echo was recognized with the Blockchain4Youth Award.
Collectively, the winning projects highlighted the ingenuity, technical capabilities, and collaborative mindset of the Philippines’ growing Web3 developer ecosystem.
Participants competed for a total prize pool worth 3,500 USDC, culminating in an awarding ceremony held at YSpaces BGC in Taguig City, where finalists presented their projects before judges and fellow builders.
Beyond the competition itself, organizers positioned the hackathon as an initiative to encourage innovation, inspire builders, and strengthen the country’s Web3 ecosystem through Morph and Bitget’s ongoing community-building efforts. Participants were also introduced to the Morph ecosystem, where they explored its technology, developer community, and opportunities to build within the network.

One of the featured speakers was Eli Rabadon, CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc. and author of Programming4Youth: Code Like a Cook, who encouraged aspiring developers to embrace experimentation, adaptability, and creative problem-solving as they build future technologies.
